Some people think that Heaven does not exist. Some think it's a place where you sit on clouds all day and sing songs. The truth is that God has created Heaven and it is a city with streets, houses, trees, fruit and even a river down the middle of Heaven. How do we know what Heaven looks like, who will be there and how to get there?
Heaven is a place where the Lord lives.
It is a city where people live who love the Lord.
The Lord is Holy and so, the people who live
there must be holy. Because every human
has sinned, except Jesus Christ (God who came
in the flesh). We have to have a way to have
our sins wiped away so we can be holy and thus
live in Heaven.
How do we become Holy enough to get into
Heaven? Only ONE WAY! JESUS IS THE WAY!
Jesus Christ was the only man who lived a sinless
life, and God sent Him to die in our place, take the
penalty for our sins upon Himself, so we could become
holy and thus be able to be with Him in Heaven.
All it takes it to accept what Jesus did for you on the
Cross and believe in your heart that He died for your
sins and that He rose again from the dead, so you could
have eternal life and become holy and forgiven.
Pray this simple pray, but do it with your heart and
say it outloud with your mouth,
"God, forgive me for my sins. I need to be saved and forgiven from my sins.
Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and Savior. I believe that you died
on the Cross for my sins and that you rose again from the dead,
and are interceeding in Heaven for me right now. Jesus, I love You.
Be my Lord and Savior. I will live for You. Fill me with Your power and
Presence now, so I can live for You for the rest of my life."
If you prayed that prayer, the Bible says you are "born-again".
You have a new spirit inside and you are on your way to Heaven!
You are holy and righteous inside and God has wiped away ALL of you sins!
That's GREAT NEWS! Now, go and share you faith with others and
start reading your Bible. Start in the Gospel of John and then go to Romans
it will give you a good foundation for faith. Get into a Bible believing
church that preaches the whole word that is for today!
